About uS

We are MES Racing, a dedicated and passionate team comprised of 20 students from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the University of St. Cyril and Methodius – UKIM. We are immensely proud to represent UKIM as the only Formula Student team supported by our esteemed institution. With our knowledge, our goal is to create the first Macedonian small-scale formula style racing car, showcasing the engineering prowess of our country on the international stage. By building this car, we aim to lay the foundations for future generations, providing them with a solid project to work on and progress. We strongly believe in promoting diversity and inclusivity, particularly by involving women in motorsports and engineering. Sustainability is another fundamental aspect of our project, and we prioritize reusing parts and minimizing waste through recycling. Additionally, we emphasize our environmental responsibility by using eco-friendly fuel such as E85. Through these objectives, we strive to leave a lasting impact on the motorsports community, education, and the environment.

Our Mission

Establishment of the first racing team within UKIM which will start and continue to cultivate motorsport culture among students and give them an opportunity of comprehensive practical experience and STEM education, as well as the opportunity to foster personal and professional growth while promoting engineering excellence and pushing the boundaries of automotive technology. Our ultimate goal is to compete and succeed in international Formula Student competitions, showcasing our technical skills, creativity, and passion for motorsports.

We aim to provide hands-on experience, foster collaboration, and promote inclusivity, creating a platform where young engineers can showcase their talents globally. Through our commitment to excellence, sustainability, and ethical practices, we strive to leave a lasting impact on education, the community, and the motorsport industry, inspiring future generations to pursue their passion and achieve remarkable success.
