In the realm of engineering, innovation is often sparked by a dream – a vision of something greater than just solving equations. For the students, that dream materialized into MES Racing, a testament to their passion for education, teamwork, and practical engineering projects.
It all began in November 2021, when they envisioned a platform where engineering students could not only enhance their academic knowledge but also apply it to a real-world project.
Like any ambitious endeavor, the journey had its challenges and achievements. From securing initial funding to assembling a dedicated team, the few people that started this project navigated through numerous ups and downs. Yet, fueled by their unwavering determination, they pressed forward, inching closer to creating the first student-made racing vehicle in the country.
Today, as we reflect on the evolution of the first Formula Student team in Macedonia, we often stand in awe of the progress made. What started as a mere idea has turned into a thriving community of 20 passionate individuals united by a common purpose. Together, we strive to push the boundaries of engineering education and shape the future, one lap at a time (how did our slogan get here?).
